I need more non-straight hair textures. I cannot for the life of me find a link to the original creator/converter/whatever of this file, but the file name is CX-hair_MYOS_fhair14_f.package.

Mesh is by MYOS. Base texture is by EA, control, specular, and normal by me. All variations come with custom thumbnails. Do whatever you want with this as long as you're not claiming you made it or putting it on paysites of any kind.

Due to the age of the mesh and TSRW being a butt and me not being able to remember how the hell to use DABOOBS and finally giving up, this comes in a couple different variations. YOU ONLY NEED TO DOWNLOAD ONE OF THESE!

DOWNLOAD TEXTURE-ONLY FILE

This is the one you want if you already have these meshes and don't mind my textures replacing the ones that were included with the original. PUT THIS IN YOUR OVERRIDES FOLDER.

This is the one you want if you either don't want/need all the ages, or don't want to have the original file textures replaced. It is, unfortunately, for T/Y/A/E Females. THIS GOES IN YOUR NORMAL PACKAGES FOLDER.

Default Replacement Hair Textures - University Life

Default replacement hair textures for several-but-not-all of the University Life EP. Most of these have 'shine control' highlights, save one of the male hairs because it looked a little silly. They all have 'shine control' highlights, because that's what I personally prefer. If you don't like 'shine control' highlights, you're welcome to edit the package files to get rid of the controls.

I did not do texture replacements on the dreads because I actually think the textures are quite lovely.

These default replacement textures require the University Life EP. The only one that doesn't is the shortened version of the 'FlyBangs' male hair. Download the UL version if you have UL, or the BG version if you don't.

You'll need to install these in your 'Mods' folder, then clear out all your caches. Make sure you also delete the 'sim' caches in your World Caches folder. You may not have one of these, and if not, you'll have to go to the root directory of your EP and delete the cache files in there. Don't worry -- they'll respawn in the World Caches folder (and even make one if you don't have one!).

Textures are a mix of Anto's and my own. Do whatever you want with these as long as you're not claiming you made them or putting them on paysites of any kind.

Boots! I found the mesh for these while digging around on Deviant Art and knew I had to convert them for TS3.

Found under everyday, and formal for T, YA, A and E males and females, with three predefined styles. Both sets are four-channel CAStable. Fully morphable and with three LODs. The female version features a higher heel than the male.

Key Necklaces for Males and Females

A long time ago, Darko sent me a request I couldn't refuse because I'm obsessed with keys. I finally finished up a female version (the male version has been finished for months), so now I'm openly releasing these key necklaces.

Found under everyday, athletic, formal, etc. etc. for T, YA, A and E males and females, with two predefined styles. Both genders have a version that's just an overlay of the original texture as well as a two-channel CAStable version. Fully morphable and has three LODs.

Please note: For some reason, occasionally in the past I've had really strange texture issues with these depending on when they're 'put on.' It's not the standard 'I've piled on too many accessories and now everything's blurry' problem, but rather something else entirely. I haven't been able to replicate this issue since I decided to release these, so I don't have a screencap, but just be forewarned. I found that if I put the necklace on before any other accessories, the issue was resolved.

Also note: These are not base-game compatible! I'm very sorry, but I just couldn't get a morphable base-game version to work correctly. As such, you'll need to either download the WA-compatible one, or the LN-compatible one. I don't have the time nor the inclination to go through and do other versions of these. However, I'm not opposed to anyone else doing so. :) (In fact, if anyone does I'd love to put a link up to it, so let me know!)

Rivet City - Boots for Males and Females

My usual "Do whatever you want with these as long as you're not claiming you made them or putting them on paysites of any kind" TOU comes with a slight add-on this time. If you want to convert these to TS2, I just beg that you give me some credit. These were very, very difficult to get working correctly, mostly because the texture mapping is so different between FO3 and TS3.

Exit 75 - Ultra-Skinny Low-Rise Bottoms for Males

I wanted a superskinny mesh for males that wasn't quite as 'ball-hugging' as the nude and underpants meshes are, so I spent way, way too long making one. I plan on adding several more jeans-type textures to this mesh in the future, but for now I bring you a leather pair.

Found under everyday and formal wear for YA and A males, with three predefined colors. One-channel CAStable with a belt overlay, lots of dynamic specular shine, and a detailed normal map. Long alpha allows for multiple shoe options. Low-rise waist works with most, but not all, shirts. Shirts with a 'tucked-in' look are hit or miss.

I recently (within the last month) started a tumblr. It's not very pretty (yet), but there are a couple of downloads on there. I'll still be using Dreamwidth as my main site for downloads, but I didn't want anyone to miss out on any of the followers gifts I've made. :D

The Raven - Outfit plus Gloves for YA/A Females

I originally did a version of this WAY back in my TS2 days, and I realized I really, really needed to attempt to convert it.

This is a full-body female outfit with two variations. The 'default' version is far more organic, and has a softer body shape with no harsh lines. The 'variation' version is a more coreseted style, with a clean trim around the top, along with lacing and a bow on the back.

Supernatural Default Replacement Hair Textures

You guys, there are seriously like eleventybillion hairs that came with Supernatural. I cannot be bothered to take individual pictures of each and every one of them with my replacement textures right now, but I'm uploading these anyway. They more or less look like every other DR texture set I've done, which means they have Anton's textures with a highlight control. I think I only failed to do a DRT for two hairs, one of which you'd probably never notice, and the other I plan to upload when it's completed.

Textures are by Anton, meshes by EA, yes you need to have the Supernatural EP for these to work. Do whatever you want with these as long as you're not claiming you made them or putting them on paysites of any kind.

This wonderful hair was already converted for Teen-Elder females by Nathia here on MTS, so I thought I'd take the conversion one more step and make it available for toddlers and children.

YAM Sim - Spencer Williams

Several people asked me if I would be willing to share this sim, and, shockingly, I am.

This is Spencer Williams, one of the models in my recent 'Colorama' shoot for SF Magazine. He comes with vanilla base-game hair and clothes, just to be on the safe side. Shown in the following pictures with my default replacement skin v2 and multi-foiled eyes. His facial hair is KittyKlan's brilliant default replacement goatee.

I'm afraid to say he's packed with a lipstick that I have no idea what it is, beyond it maybe coming from Lemonleaf. If you find you don't have it, I promise he's just as attractive without it. Also, I swear his eyebrows came from MTS, but I cannot for the life of me figure out which ones they are. I'll update this post if anyone is able to figure it out. :X

I think I just may not be very good at this 'sim sharing' business.

Donation Drive Update!

It appears that while I was on vacation with my family (my mom and dad, my husband, one of my sisters, my two brothers, two nieces, two nephews, a pair of in-laws, and one girlfriend!), Club Crimsyn officially hit and then went over the goal for this donation drive!!!

I just wanted to take a few minutes to thank each and every person who donated. Even the smallest amount helped, and it means so much to me that so many people donated.

Because I hate asking for money, this coming year I'm going to just leave a tip jar up in the sticky post. That way, people can toss some change our way whenever, and hopefully it'll add up and help off-set hosting fees.

This hair came with a straight texture and feathers, and horrible uv mapping. I got rid of the straight texture and feathers, and did what I could with the uv mapping.

I lovelovelove this hair for females, and thought it'd be great to have for males as well, so I did a quick and easy gender conversion complete with mesh moving/resizing.

Store Hair - Seeing Stars/Show Stopping Styles - Default Replacement Texture

It's The Annual 'I Hate Asking For Money But Need To' Donation Drive-A-Thon

Ok. We hate to do this, but it's that time of year again. Our webhost ~~will soon be asking~~ has already asked us for a large sum of money, and we'd really appreciate it if anyone who can spare anything would chip in a bit to help us out.

As we said last year [and the year before etc.] around this time, we had no trouble paying for our hosting out of our own pockets back when we first opened the site, but unfortunately (?) we got too popular or something. We go through a lot of bandwidth each month which is why it isn't cheap anymore.

TUTORIAL AND FILE UPDATE

I just wanted to mention that I've updated the tutorial on hiding objects from the catalog. It turns out I was missing a step that enables duplication of hidden objects, which honestly hadn't even crossed my mind. I owe huge amounts of thanks to the anon(s?) that A) noticed there was a problem, and B) figured out a way to fix said problem. Thankfully it's a very easy thing to do, on par with the how easy hiding objects from the catalog is in the first place.

I've updated my hidden potions and poisons from Skyrim, so resnag those if you need to. :)

Experienced - Dreads for Males

This is a remixed bunch of Nouk's TS2 dreads for males. This style, sadly, does not animate quite right, but I honestly don't notice it too much. There's an example picture under the cut along with the rest of the previews. Hopefully it won't bother anyone else, and even more hopefully there might be someone out there who knows an easy way to make smoothly animated hairs and will teach me.
