Objects, Plants, Walls, Floors, Neighborhood Objects & Movie Props for The Sims 2

NEWEST UPDATE:

THIS SITE WILL BE CLOSING & the domain name will be sold.

Posted by HChangeri on March 17, 2020

Hey all, it's been a very long time since I created anything for The Sims 2.  I don't intend to restart that hobby for several reasons.  Since my husband's suicide in January 2019, I've had to cut back on my financial obligations.  As such, I will be closing this site and selling the domain name.   I had to use an HTML editor to make this post so I'm hoping this doesn't hose the site up more than it already it.  Because it was created eons ago, I can't update it without entirely rebuilding it, which i don't have the time or desire to do.  It's been a good run & I hope you all enjoyed the content.  I know quite a few people still visit & download so I'm sorry to do this but I just can't keep spending the money to maintain a site with a non-functional code base.

Meanings of the Symbols

Posted by HChangeri on October 23, 2013

As you navigate the site you'll find little symbols by the downloads.  Sadly, I realized that my alt-text no longer shows and the site that used to list the permissions no longer exists.  Therefore, here is a chart of the symbols & their meanings (there are more stuff packs & expansions but I don't own them).  The expasion pack symbols are the minimum required for the item to work.  This means all the expansions that came after should work but that's not guaranteed.

You can package the mesh with your houses / lots The Sims 2 (base game)
You can package the mesh with your recolors. University
Recolors allowed (mesh must be downloaded from this site) Pets
Family Fun Stuff Pack Nightlife
H & M Stuff Pack Bon Voyage
Holiday Stuff Pack Free Time
Teen Style Stuff Pack  Do NOT use with Open for Business
Celebrations Stuff Pack  Open for Business
Glamour Life Stuff Pack  Seasons

I have granted some exceptions to the permissions, especially in cases where the modder made a large number of recolors for a single mesh (or set) or they were using a large number of meshes in their lot.

Sims mods are for THE SIMS 2

Posted by HChangeri on March 19, 2011

Just an FYI, all the meshes here are for The Sims 2, not The Sims 3.  The last expansion pack I bought was Freetime.  I have no idea if my content will work with the EPs that came out afterwards.  If you have the later EPs and content doesn't work, then the content doesn't work.  The category "Open For Business Ready Sets" is in reference to the change EA made to the Open For Business expansion pack. When it was released there were some modifications to items from the base game that rendered some items made prior to its release unusable and in some cases crashed your game.  Even if you don't have OFB, if you have EPs that came after OFB, stay in that section for stores.  All content not inside that area, but NOT in the "Pre-Open for Business sets" section, is OFB ready.  I know its confusing but blame EA for introducing updated code for old items.

I cannot guarantee that any mesh here will absolutely work with your game.  There are too many variables to make the guarantee.  I can only say that it works in MY game and I have updated/removed/repaired any problem items others reported to me.
