34 here, graduated in 95, too. My first thought when I saw the date was 'Oh, that wasn't that long ago!' I'm delusional. XD

One-upmanship really can have some really good results, but definitely not when people are trying to out-troll or out-stupid one another. That doesn't do anyone any good, and is, in fact, quite destructive.

I completely agree with and love everything else you said. :)
