SG1 - O'Neill D'oh

Oh yes, it did indeed just come to that.

I don't know how it'll be for anyone else, but the newest patch made my game completely unplayable; it wouldn't even launch. (Probably because I left in my nocd hack) (And yes, I have retail versions of both the base game and WA, but my only dvdrom is an external unit, which is a pain in my ass to deal with.) Given what I've seen other people having happen with their CC (both .package files and .sims3packs alike) (sims3packs are fucked up), I'd avoid patching if at all possible.

Also, the CAW tool seemed to be rather lacking. They've released the guide, which would have been useful to say the least.

Off to reinstall while I wait for Pescado to eat another part of my soul. :P

You know, when I saw that there was a new patch I said to myself, "Self, perhaps you should wait a bit before patching..."

Well, at least I know I was right. I'm not usually one to complain, but this is starting to get ridiculous. Plus, I'm a little bothered by this "in-game store" thing. I mean, I'm all for a company being able to make a profit, but this just seems too much.

Screw it. I think I'll just go play the most violent video game I own. I've felt like smacking something all day, anyway.

The Shining - Seen This Coming
I said the same thing, but the shiny of CAW won out. :/

Holy shit, don't get me started on the 'in-game store' crap! Getting rid of that part of the patch was worth the un/re-install. (Not that my game was running for me to see it in the first place...)

I wish I had a violent video game I could play. First person shooters make me sick, and all our fighting games are scary-old.

Shiny things often suck me in. But, oh, I just thought of something - it's going to be hilarious to see what some of the TS3 Exchangelander kids do with CAW - oh, the messes they'll make. Should be some good fun.

I think I'm in the mood for some old-school Resident Evil 2 mayhem. Get shotgun, aim up, blow zombie head into chunks. Repeat. Of course, there's also Devil May Cry. Violence, plus Dante = tasty.

TS3 - Aikea Distressed
Oh man... now I'm looking forward to seeing monstrocities!

I totally got sucked into reading your story, so now I don't need a violent game! (And I completely forgot I own DMC and beat it ages ago... that'd be a good one to fall back on when I need to kill things.)
