Tristan: "Is this your little three-ring circus, then? Or is there another ringmaster lurking in the shadows somewhere?" Chris: "That's a bit melodramatic, don't you think? Tonight is my show; that's all you need to know right now." Tristan: "I didn't think you could come up with something like this on your own. Although 'Club Crimsyn' is something I could see you having a hand in." Chris: "The 'Y' makes it hip." Tristan: "Yes, if you say so."
At some point today, some time between a breakfast that consisted of a pancake that was larger than my head and cider after noon that was wasn't quite real, I told robokitty and century_eyes of the horror that was Things I Try To Do That Go Wrong. gelydh has seen these, and now I share them with the rest of you. This is what happens when I start messing around with making new sliders.
What's the point? Well... sometimes making CC calls for experimentation. Often times, those experiments go really, really wrong. Sometimes, I feel the need to share my pain.
Wahhh! Stumps! Eyeball-less sockets! I'm gonna have nightmares...
I feel your pain, though. I've been messing around for the last couple of days trying to make half walls and wall overlays (like the ones you made for TS2). Suffice to say, success has been very limited so far. :(
I've been meaning to mess around with attempting to make a wall overlay, and even got started on one yesterday. However, I realized it might not have been the best thing to start with as my first ever object attempt. :/
LOL! Good point. I'm only a beginner but I seem to be drawn to the more complicated ideas (there are far too many tables out there already!). Hope you have more luck with your wall overlay than I did - it's such a handy thing to have in the game! My half wall, on the other hand, is coming along quite nicely. :)
