MST3K - Don't Tongue The Reaper
Just wanted to let everyone know I've (finally) managed to get my no-drift freecam mod in .package format. This means no more backing up of files, losing them, having to dig around for them when it's time to patch your game, etc. etc. etc. Just install this as you would any other custom content, and make sure to reinstall the original VideoCamera.ini (typically goes in C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\GameData\Shared\NonPackaged\Ini).

Grab this if you forgot to back up/lost your original VideoGame.ini file

In fact, to get slower, faster, smoother, individual camera movements with the Sims 3, we edit the camera file while in-game.
I simply load the game in windowed mode and I open the VideoCamera.ini file.
I use the ''LerpDuration'' option which permit to control the time it takes to go from point A to point B, when using preset angles.
Then, I save the file and my changes are reflected in-game. Your mod is very useful but with your package file, the changes have no effect in-game.

Can I use S3PE with the game loaded ?

Thank you aikea :)

I have no idea if editing the package would work the way editing the ini did, so unfortunately I can't help with that. Also, I no longer have the edited videocamera.ini I did originally, but I copied the xml info from the package so you (and whoever else) can make your own videocamera.ini to edit on the fly. You can share this with anyone else who wants to do things the old way. :)

Just remove the .package form of the video camera mod, and paste the following into the videocamera.ini like you used to do for the first version of this mod:
