I converted a version of this grass ages and ages ago, but I always wanted to figure out a way to make it CAStable. After quite a few false starts and over-thinking things, I managed to figure out a way to get everything I wanted from this file.

There are several different meshes in this, including short and long versions in single- and four-tile groups, plus a single-tile off-set mesh for filling in the one-tile distance between two lots. There's also a CAStable version of the Cast Away clump of long grass.

Sims can walk through this, and the mesh won't get in the way of the 'Go Here' command.

It can't be that cold, the ground is still warm to touch... )

You'll find the grass in the Flowers section in Build Mode. The single tile grass costs §1, the four tile grass costs §4, and the Cast Away grass costs §2. They all come with the same three preset colors.

These do not overwrite the original files, so if you spent forever planting the old grass, you don't have to do it all over again.

Do whatever you want with these as long as you're not claiming you made them or putting them on paysites of any kind. Mesh and base textures by EA.

This is a conversion of a TS2 set by Padre333, as well as the sewing machine from the TS2 FreeTime expansion pack (obviously, it's non-functional). It was requested by Aikea and it turned out nice, so here it is for everyone else. More pictures and information can be found below the cut!

Enjoy!

Tristan: "I didn't think you could come up with something like this on your own. Although 'Club Crimsyn' is something I could see you having a hand in."
Chris: "The 'Y' makes it hip."
Tristan: "Yes, if you say so."
