A random hair for you, which should be perfect for those sims who like to cut their own hair without using a mirror. This is a control and alpha edit of TumTum Simiolino's conversion of Anto 75, available for teen-elder.

The channels on this are a bit twisted around, but I did that on purpose. The base channel is still the base channel, as are the highlights, but the 'roots' are now the tips and the 'tips' are the streaks. Now that I've given this more thought, that was a pretty stupid way to do it. Next time it'll make a little more sense.

Do whatever you want with this, just keep it off paysites (including TSR). Credit to Anto (coolsims.net) for the original TS2 mesh and textures, and TumTum for the brilliant conversion. New alpha and control are by me. Clearly I remember picking on the boy; seemed a harmless little fuck.

This is a not a stand-alone file; you must get TumTum's conversion for this to work. This will not overwrite his alpha or control textures, so you'll be able to have the original natural version as well as this one.

I lack decent hairs for both genders, in general, but especially for males. I love to make alt-peacock sims, don't get me wrong, but some of the born-in-game ones are just too mellow for that. So they're getting this! Danke for sharing!

It's funny how there can be so many different hairs out there, but it still feels lacking! Most of my problem comes from the meshes seeming really big, or the textures not suiting my tastes. (And I'm just too lazy to change textures, though I may have to overcome that one of these days.)

Looks awesome Aikea! I sat there reading how you did the control for literally 10 minutes and going "That's such a good idea!"

Just a question though, how did you manage to get it to be a dependent file, but not overwrite the original?

Next time for the control I won't suffer a stroke half way through it and will leave the tips as the tips and make the streaks the 'roots' instead. XD I'd done something similar for what must have been my third ever hair for TS3 back in the day, only I never released it because the mesh was terrible.

As for not overwriting the original, I just opened it in CTU and did my editing, then saved it as its own file. The nice part about that is I was able to change the default colors, so even without a custom thumbnail this hair will stand out a bit in the thumbnail section.
